Due to Covid 19, all educational institutions private and government were directed to close due to Pandemic COVID of 3rd wave starting. Students and parents were asking when is Punjab School Opening date in Pakistan is. So A meeting was held on dated 18th May 2024 by National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). The decision was taken that the school is opening in Punjab on 24th May 2024 on Monday.

In the first phase Government of the Punjab School Education department is going to open the school in the 16 Districts of Punjab names are mentioned below. After this phase gradually schools will be permitted to be opened. All Public and private schools listed attached are directed to open with effect from 24-05-2024.

Bahawalnagar, Chakwal, Nankana, Chiniot, Hafizabad, Jhang, Jehlam, Kasoor, Mandi Bahaodin, Narowal, Pakpatan, Rajanpur, Sahiwal, Sheikhupura, Sialkot and Vehari. In the first phase, schools are being opened from 24/05/2024.
