The ministry of Education (Government of Pakistan) has modified the Punjab School Timing for all private and Government sectors (Educational Complex) during Ramadan 2024. Starting today, the new school timing during Ramdan 2024 in Punjab is adjusting their schedules for Ramadan 2024 is differ from the Offices’ timing. School timing in Ramadan Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad, and Quetta is a little different due to the long distance.
Detail of New School Timing During Ramdan 2024
We have received a recent notification from the Punjab School Education Department in brief details about the new timings for school during Ramadan ul Mubarak 2024.
On Mondays to Thursdays and Saturdays, single-shift schools will run from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Fridays will have a slightly shorter day, ending at 11:30 noon.
For second-shift schools, classes will start at 12:30 pm and conclude at 4 pm during Ramadan.

This change comes as the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has confirmed the sighting of the Ramadan moon, marking the beginning of the holy month. The announcement was made after a meeting in Peshawar, attended by representatives from various Islamic schools of thought.
