Recently a meeting was held between Senate Standing Committee on Finance and the representatives of Telecom industries on this subject increasing taxes and start Phone Calls Load Shedding by Telecom Operators.

In the meeting of Senate Standing Committee on Finance it was discussed that Govt has increased the taxes on Telecom companies 15% tax on Fiber Optic Cable and 20% tax on duty.

ٰIn the meeting was held the representatives of Telecom has requested the Federal Government to minimize the taxes to 8 % purchase the Fiber Optic Cable. Phone Calls Load Shedding will be started soon across the country. Senate Standing Committee on Finance has ensured the Telecom representatives to send their recommendation to Federal Government.
