Today the Government of Pakistan the Ministry of Interior has announced Public Holidays in Pakistan 2023 Gazette Leaves especially for the Muslims and Minorities on 23rd December 2023. All the people can avail of these Bank Public Holidays 2023 in this fiscal year and enjoy it very much.

These days the jobholders including the Govt. of Federal, Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Jammu, and Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) the entire employees to leave for walked in the various places with their families and celebrated the Pakistan Public Holidays 2023 for the calendar year of Public Holidays in Pakistan 2023.

However, on these days the Banks / DFIs /MFBs will remain closed for the public but NOT for their employees: There are 10 Public and Optional Holidays for the year of 2023. These are Kashmir Day, Pakistan Day, Labour Day, Ed-ul-Fitr. (1 Shawal 1444 A.H.)  Ed-ul-Azho, (10th Zill Hoj 1444 A.H.),  Ashura (9″) & 10th Moharram 1445 A.H.),  Independence Day, Eid (12th Rabi-ul- Awwal 1445 A.H), Quaid-e-Azam Day / Christmas, Day After Christmas, etc.

Optional Public Holidays in Pakistan 2023

A Government servant should not ordinarily be refused an Optional Holiday that is of religious significance to him and the refusal is likely to decrease the number of such holidays to which she/ he is entitled.   • Kashmir Day

Kashmir Day is the 1st Public Holiday at the start of the year 2023. This day is held on dated 5th Feb every year. It is also called Kashmir Solidarity Day observed for the independence of Jammu Kashmir. Pakistan shows respect and honor for the freedom of Kashmir also check this event.
